How this scheduling tool handles the information it collects. Last updated September 3, 2026.
Marquee is the event and fundraiser request tool for the Keisha Lance Bottoms campaign. It exists so that people can ask the campaign to attend or host an event, and so campaign staff can answer them. It is not a public website, a mailing list, or an advertising product.
When you submit a request, the form asks for the event and for a way to reply: your name, your email address, the organization you are asking on behalf of, and details of the event โ its name, date, location, expected attendance and fundraising goal. You may attach files. All of it is used to decide on your request, to schedule it, and to contact you about it.
When you follow up on a request, you use a link emailed to you plus the address you submitted with. Both are required, so a link on its own does not open anybody's request.
To keep the form usable, the number of submissions from an internet address, and acknowledgement emails to a given address, are counted for a rolling hour and then discarded. That count is deleted as it is read; nothing keeps a log of who visited.
When campaign staff use the console, the app records the decisions, comments and edits they make against a request, and who made them. That history is how the campaign answers "who agreed to this, and when".
Information obtained from Google is not sold, is not transferred to anyone except as described on this page, is not used for advertising, and is not used to train any model. Its use complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Any staff member can withdraw the app's calendar access at any time from their Google account permissions.
Requests are visible to authorized campaign staff, who sign in with Google and are on an access list an administrator maintains. Nobody else has an account. The information is not sold, rented or traded, and it is not shared with anyone outside the campaign except the service providers that host and deliver it on the campaign's behalf, or where the law requires it.
Requests and their history are kept as the campaign's record of what was asked and what was decided, for as long as the campaign needs them. A dated copy of the request table is written to private backup storage each night. Rate-limit counts are deleted within the hour. Nothing here is kept for advertising or profiling, because none is done.
Write to scheduling@dcprinciple.com to ask what the campaign holds about you, to correct it, or to ask for it to be deleted. Deletion is subject to any record the campaign is legally required to keep. If you have already submitted a request and simply want to withdraw it, saying so in a reply to the acknowledgement email is enough.
This form is meant for adults arranging events. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
